I've taken many things over the years ...such as wheat grass...juicing...pills...herbs...and yes I 've had some results...but out of all I've taken.... shakeology has given me maxim results...I am now only on my 6th day...already my jeans are looser...my moods evened out...sometimes I feel euphoria...the blood sugar shakes are gone...keeps you regular, feeling light and clean inside...since having twin boys my stress levels were high ...I am so completely pumped that I want everyone I know and love to fuel their bodies...saturating themselves with the health ingredients inside shakeology! Not thinking Shakeology could win me over anymore then it has...this is where it showed me deep on the power of shakeology...I had a procedure done and only had time to have a shake in the morning...with no way of eating for nine hours...normally I would be a snappy freak by then :)...however in that ninth hour I pulled over to grab a bite...thinking I want a taste of everything because I was hungry! Fantasizing about...Appetizer ...Salad...Dessert ...I thought for sure I would eat it all up...yet by the end of my meal...the dessert faded from my desires...and I ended up bringing half my meal home...never and I mean never have I ever taken a product that responded to my bodies needs this quickly...I can only imagine how I will feel in a year :) ...
if I can help you in anyway...or just want updates on my progress let me know...
one thing I'm known for in my inner circle is Missi is a lab rat...always testing on my body first...
oooo PS...my ex husband who is not nutrition minded began shakeology and he is excited that he's regular...he mentioned he can't even eat the big portions he used to indulge in at lunch with the guys...he's reaching out for better choices...I am finding that shakeology is balancing the bodies chemistry of your natural internal health needs...I am also aware it takes 90 days to flip over your cells to a nice new change...
God Bless you Leah!
Thank you for a listening ear...hopefully you too will reward your self with this rich benefits of shakeology !:)

Had a bad week last week and almost didn't go to workout this morning. But instead of being discouraged, I got mad and worked out even harder! Before starting this program, I couldn't do a single push-up, sit-up, or chin-up. Now, I'm up to 20 sit-ups and push-ups (not the girl ones, either!). I'm still working on the chin-ups.

Joshua Hodnett Yes INDEED!
Want to also shout out a good job to Jennifer Lane Ramsey who is also down 5 lbs this week. She did the Shakeology Three Day Cleanse and broke a long standing plateau... so it would seem. I have another client Jessica, that is starting this cleanse this week. If you want to know more about the Shakeology Three Day Cleanse click here http://www.squidoo.com/SHAKEOLOGY-3-DAY-CLEANSE. HeyRaeginia Shepherd didn't you do this too? What were your results?

I talked to my coach, and he asked me if my heart rate monitor displayed calorie burn. No, it didn't, and honestly it wasn't something that I considered when I just simply picked that model at random out of a bunch of others with a "reasonable" price tag.
We talked for a few minutes on the subject, and he had suggested to me that perhaps I wasn't burning as many calories in my workout as we had assumed I would. After all, I've just begun this journey and my metabolism has yet to fully ramp up. He encouraged me to test my body fat again and ensure that I wasn't gaining fat.
Good news, I wasn't gaining body fat. So then I had to wonder, where is this weight coming from? Sure, some of it is likely to be muscle mass, but I wouldn't expect all of it to be, and surely I'm not gaining significant muscle in all the places these pants were now fitting more tightly.
I've lived most of my life oblivious to the fact that I was perpetually dehydrated. If I felt thirsty, I'd grab something like a Dr. Pepper or a Monster energy drink to quench that thirst. I knew caffeine was a diuretic, but I refused to believe it could have much effect on my hydration.
By the time I was noticing this extra weight, I was nearly half a month into hydrating my body properly. No more diuretic drinks, and tons of water. I was (and still am) drinking at least a half gallon of filtered water daily. So this extra weight MUST have something to do with water.
I resolved myself to edit my nutrition spreadsheet to also include (and appropriately portion) my nutritional information beyond simply counting calories. I added everything one can imagine from a standard nutritional information label. As most of us are likely aware, one of those items is sodium. And then I started to realize, I had underestimated the amount that sodium plays on water retention just as much as I had with caffeine's diuretic effects.
Much to my amazement, after plugging in the numbers for everything that I consume in a day, I found that I was consuming nearly 5000mg sodium per day. The Mayo Clinic reports the "average" American consumes nearly 3400mg sodium daily, and that one should limit to 2300mg or less daily. Despite my thoughts that I was "eating right" I was still taking in more than double the sodium recommendation!
I was getting discouraged, because I had seen the scale going the opposite direction than it should have been. I was concerned that somehow, I was still overeating despite meticulous care and attention to portioning and active avoidance of extra snacks and junk food. I had thought I was making the best possible choices in my diet, especially in picking things labeled with "Low Sodium" on the package, but without really looking closely at how much sodium was in the product.
Because of these changes to my spreadsheet, I can now view what my entire day looks like and make better choices as necessary to avoid taking too much sodium. It's had an added benefit of helping me pick more balanced items to adjust my protein, fat and carbs to be a closer match to my goals as well.
So, now I have a better heart rate monitor which allows me to monitor my calorie burn, I have a better nutrition plan that helps me make better decisions overall (not just sodium) and a better outlook towards my success with the program.
I know I'm losing fat, and I know there's more to go. But I also know I'm gaining strength because common things which used to be more difficult are becoming easier. (especially P90X itself!) I find myself walking taller and sucking in my gut while I walk around the office. What's more is that I can actually hold it tight now, rather than losing control over those muscles in just a few short seconds. When I'm moving around at work, I try harder to engage my core, and amazingly... I find it's actually there for a change.
I'm only 2 weeks in, and without a doubt I can tell this is going to be awesome. Keep pressing play, y'all!
